About Us
Who We Are?
We are pretty regular family. We live in Croatia (Europe) and along with our son Luka we simply adore Bull Terriers. Irena handles Luka, Marko handles Bobbs... or vice-versa anyway.
This photo is taken at our friend's Miss. Ana Herceg. Ana is the most successful Bull Terrier breeder in Croatia and the owner of the famous Serial Thrilla Kennels.
Stuck With Bull Terriers
Rina was born in '91. and she was a gift from Marko's uncle, who is well known breeder of Croatian Sheppards. Uncle told him that she would be a perfect dog for him, which he disagreed, but after spending some time with her all alone he changed his mind.
He fell in love with her and tried to exhibit her to prove everyone (friends and relatives) that she can also be shown at the dog show. At that time he often explained: “At least, she could be the most beautiful ugly dog!”.
Their first show attempt was disaster and for some time he beleived he should never show her again. After she matured some more and his uncle persuated him to show her at least one more time.
As you’re already guessing—she won reserve Certificate and this changed their future in many ways. Rina became the first Croatian Champion ever, and marko decided to mate her and have a litter...
That was the beginning of the breeding and Marko and his family became addicted to Bull Terriers, especially mum and dad. We registered Grich affix in ’96.
Rina brought us Vick, a great champion, and our dear little Tea, who has brought us (among all others) Bobbs, our companion and baby-sitter.
When Bobbs was about 2 years old Marko met Irena, who was amazed by Bull Terriers at the first sight. They got married and shortly after (well... 9 months) Luka was born. Now the three of them experience this wonderfull breed together.
Random thoughts...
On puppies...
We have puppies very, very occasionally, almost rarely, because it's very hard to find suitable homes for this special animals. We are trying to give away our puppies only to approved people, and we always try to keep regular contacts with the owners of our dogs.
Bull Terriers are special dogs for special people, and not everyone is able to raise a Bull Terrier puppy.
When considering Bull Terriers, we advise you to contact a few experienced owners and find out about all the daily responsibilities they have (feeding, diseases, temperament, behavior, ...). When you do, you multiply all oft the information received and ask yourself if you really want such obligation... It's better that you realize it sooner, then later. It's better for the dog and it's better for you...
Until we start breeding again —
